I like the things in my daily life to be as simple as possible. Because of this I found myself throwing away a bunch of small plastic bottles every day, which seemed wasteful and bad for the environment. So I started buying reusable water bottles but most of them were not dishwasher safe. Sometimes I found an okay dishwasher safe bottle, but it required being on the top rack of my dishwasher so it wouldn't melt. They also all had water going up through the handle which is a near impossible place to clean. No matter what I did I always tasted soap. I spent months trying to find a perfect water bottle but never found one. I was so frustrated by this problem that I decided to solve it.
